Our Purpose
is to Eliminate Bad Debt Fees Owed to Childcare Providers
This site is dedicated to reporting parents
who have withdrawn their child(ren) from a daycare owing fees to either
a licensed, registered, listed or privately owned child care operation.
We are not a collection agency, however, listing parents on this site
will provide childcare operations with critical financial information
before they accept children into their operation.
Childcare facilities, once registered on this site, will have
pre-enrollment information on parents that have a bad debt relating to
their childcare payments. This will allow the facilities to make
critical financial judgment as to accepting those parents who have
defaulted in their childcare fees to another childcare operation.
Many times, especially for registered, listed, or privately owned home
childcare facilities, parents remove their children without notice,
thereby leaving unpaid fees. Subsequently, these parents will go to
another childcare facility and register their child(ren). By reporting
this delinquency on this site, childcare facilities now ensure that the
parent's they accept will be financially responsible.

Facts
According to a recent report by the National Association of Child Care
Resource and Referral Agencies (NACCRRA), 63 percent of the nation's
children under five years of age are in some type of childcare arrangement
every week. Alone with these statistics, the bad debt ratios listed below is
alarming:
- Over 2.6 million dollars
in bad debt childcare fees
are reported by child
care facilities each year.
- 75% of these fees are never recaptured by parents
who default on their payments.
- Bad debt childcare fees contribute to over 59% of
childcare facilities operating at a loss because of those uncollected
fees.
- Childcare providers
have no way of identifying these parents who owe other childcare
operations.
- An alarming number of parents do not honor their
childcare contract. If they knew this service was available, it would
drastically reduce the number of default fees.
- Because of costly court fees and inconvenience of
time, many childcare operations have no other choice but to write the
loss off.
